Research Interest: My research interest is mainly focused in the study of biodiversity and diversification and evolution of flowering plants at different evolutionary scales.

Research Interest: Evolution and ecology of communities. Heterostyly in angiosperm plants (genus Datura).

Research Interest: Evolution of holocentric chromosomes. The genus formerly known as Schoenoxiphium (now Carex sect. Schoenoxiphium) and phylogeography of bipolar Carex.

PhD Study: Bipolar disjunction in genus Carex.
Research Interest: Phylogeographics of four bipolar Carex species (C. artogena, C. canescens, C. maritima and C. macloviana). She is also interested in systematics of Carex sect. Schoenoxiphium and phylogenomics.
